Job Description
Role Purpose: • To lead and help drive performance support activities required to sustain knowledge management. This involves governing process for managing changes to materials, instructional design and maintenance of a range of performance support materials. • This role is critical to delivery of business goals around increased efficacy of learning, delivery of business transformation and meeting of customer goals. • This role works alongside colleagues and stakeholders within and outside of Lending Services to plan priority work, identify learning opportunities and deliver within business constraints. • This role will design and develop digital learning material aligned with business priorities and needs. Essential capabilities • Demonstrated ability to provide instructional design support on financial services core processes including credit origination, fulfilment and end to end mortgage processing. • Learning needs analysis, design and development of learning programs, evaluation of success against overall business metrics and goals. • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, build relationships and influence stakeholders. • Continuous improvement – Ability to identify opportunities to standardize/optimize business processes, and continually look for more effective ways of working, removing waste from the system and improving customer experience at all levels. Other capabilities • Usage of ADDIE methodology end-to-end • Creation and implementation of appropriate digital learning solutions including use of a range of tools and delivery methods Experience • 5+ years working in an instructional design or capability role for a large, complex organisation • Development of operating procedures within financial services industry • Involvement in defining processes and governance for managing performance support repositories • Exposure to change management and project management practices and activities Qualification Requirements • Tertiary qualifications are not essential but any qualification and experience in Banking and Finance in line with the demands of the role are viewed beneficially. • Formal learning or qualification in instructional technology, design or adult education is preferred
