Instructional Technology Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Technology Coordinator to join our team at the Alabama Department of Education.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position responsible for providing exceptional instructional technology support within an effective and successful educational facility.
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and a valid Alabama school librarian certificate.
• Must meet Every Student Succeed Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements or a willingness to meet the requirements within the designated timeframe.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Instructional Technology Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a school technology program aligned with educational objectives. You will also provide input and assistance to other school personnel by actively participating in departmental, faculty, curriculum, and special meetings.
• Develop and implement a school library program aligned with educational objectives.
• Manage and facilitate technology device distribution, collection, and maintenance for teachers and students.
• Provide input and assistance to other school personnel by actively participating in departmental, faculty, curriculum, and special meetings.
• Initiate repairs for broken or malfunctioning devices with vendors.
• Represent the school on committees as required or appropriate.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $+0,000 per year, depending on experience.
