Crescent Bay College is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Program Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, student success, and delivering engaging business education in a supportive learning environment.
The instructor will be responsible for delivering course content, supporting students academically, and maintaining high educational standards in accordance with institutional policies.
Responsibilities
Deliver classroom and/or online instruction for business-related courses
Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, and assessments
Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and academic records
Support students in achieving learning outcomes and career readiness
Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings as required
Ensure compliance with college academic policies and standards
Qualifications
Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field
Previous teaching or training experience preferred
Industry experience in business, management, administration, marketing, finance, or related areas is considered an asset
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online learning platforms
Ability to work with diverse student populations
Preferred Skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience with both in-class and online delivery methods
Student-focused and professional approach to teaching
