Our national Insurance & Health practice combines deep industry knowledge with local expertise and the highest standards of client service. Our team of more than 200 specialist lawyers has the depth of experience and agility to help our clients, both in Australia and overseas, to navigate the complex risk landscape and support their insureds.

About the Role
An engaging opportunity awaits you as a Senior Associate or Special Counsel in our insurance team in Melbourne. We have rewarding work on offer in the public liability and general insurance space, focusing on Government & Institutional (G&I) abuse claims, and a broad range of other insurance matters. You’ll collaborate with a team of specialists in their field headed up by Sasha Jeffrey-Bailey – a principal who is committed to empowering you and your career progression.

About You

you are an experienced practitioner in the defendant insurance space with a focus on G&I claims, liability and coverage matters;
you can efficiently manage your own file load;
you enjoy building client relationships and achieving excellent outcomes;
you remember what it was like being a junior practitioner and understand the importance of mentoring, and are happy to pass on your expertise and knowledge; and
you are a problem-solver who values collaboration and understands the importance of strong working relationships.
