Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid work model (only 2 days in the office) for a wholesale underwriter based in Delhi, India. We are looking for a wholesale underwriter to support and grow our commercial and wholesale insurance portfolio across marine, medical, and fire lines . This role is designed for an underwriter who is technically sound, digitally comfortable, and capable of working in a hybrid environment while handling broker-led and corporate business. Salary will be competitive and aligned with industry benchmarks, based on experience, technical capabilities, and performance.
Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge of Insurance products, specifically in the motor insurance domain
Strong Finance-related skills and the ability to calculate premiums and interpret financial data
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for consultation and client support
Experience in Insurance Brokerage and claim settlements, with a focus on delivering fair outcomes
Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively on-site
A bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is a plus
Proficiency in using technology for managing insurance software and client databases
