Our growing Personal Injury Law Firm in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a motivated and client-focused attorney to join our team in a dual role handling both intake and pre-suit personal injury matters. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about helping others and wants to gain hands-on experience across the early stages of case development.

Key Responsibilities:
Intake Duties:
Conduct initial consultations with potential clients, evaluating the viability of personal injury claims and determining if the firm is a good fit for representation.
Review medical records, police reports, photos, and other case materials to assist with intake evaluation.
Clearly and compassionately explain the legal process to clients, ensuring they understand next steps.
Facilitate smooth onboarding, including contract execution and gathering initial documentation.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to ensure accurate case evaluations and seamless handoffs.
Pre-Suit Case Management:
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through pre-suit resolution.
Maintain frequent, supportive communication with clients throughout their treatment and recovery.
Coordinate with medical providers and assist with record collection and case documentation.
Draft and submit demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters.
Keep case files organized, up-to-date, and compliant with firm policies and Florida legal standards.
Team Collaboration & Compliance:
Work closely with paralegals and department managers to move cases forward efficiently.
Document all case activity and communication in the firm’s case management system.
Ensure that all actions and communications reflect the firm’s high standards of ethics and service.
Qualifications:
Education & Licensing:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Florida (in good standing).
Experience:
0–3 years of experience in personal injury or related legal fields.
Client consultation and case evaluation experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right candidate.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze case facts and medical records.
Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
Confident yet compassionate demeanor when working with clients.
Strong internal drive and motivation to succeed—attorneys who thrive here are self-starters who take initiative and push cases forward
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience between $70,000-$90,000.
Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses tied to both intake conversions and case resolutions.
