About the Role
Our client is seeking Integration & Test Engineers at all levels to work on mission-critical Defence, Cyber, and Intelligence programmes in Gloucester. You’ll play a key role in integrating, testing, and deploying complex software solutions that ensure national security and advance next-generation capabilities.
Working in an Agile & DevSecOps environment, you’ll develop automated test frameworks, troubleshoot full-stack architectures, and optimise CI/CD pipelines. If you thrive on solving complex challenges and want to work on innovative, high-impact projects, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do
???? Integrate & test mission-critical systems used in real-world security operations
???? Develop and execute software test & integration plans to ensure compliance
???? Create automated testing frameworks and integrate them within CI/CD pipelines
???? Debug and resolve issues across full-stack architectures
???? Deploy large-scale, complex software solutions into multi-system environments
???? Work with public, private, and hybrid cloud deployments
What You’ll Need
✔ Proven test & integration experience in Agile & DevSecOps environments
✔ Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines & automation testing (GitLab CI/CD, Blue-Green deployments)
✔ Strong problem-solving skills – ability to debug and optimise complex software systems
✔ Knowledge of functional & non-functional test automation and reporting
✔ ISTQB certifications (Foundation, Agile, Performance, or Security) are highly desirable
Bonus Skills – What Sets You Apart
???? Experience optimising CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based deployments
???? Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and hybrid-cloud integrations
???? Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, Fargate, IAM, S3, Lambda)
???? Familiarity with AWS SDK (Boto3) for automation & CloudTrail for security auditing
