How you will contribute
You will provide expert consultation for a specific software or application, leading on issues and resolutions, optimizing service delivery to meet business demands and the service operations strategy. To excel in this role, you will recommend steps to optimize investments and benefits and to mitigate risks for a specific application. In addition, you will identify suppliers, evaluate them, on-board new vendors, and oversee them, work with project resources to provide design collateral and to configure software components that are aligned with security policy and governance, ensure adherence configuration standards and processes, and share your knowledge of the technology with relevant stakeholders.

Description:
The Integrations Platforms Engineering at Mondelēz is a “hands-on keyboard” technical role that will be primarily focused on engineering needs specific to several integration platforms used in Mondelēz. These activities include interfaces, APIs, jobs, and workflows development as well as infrastructure design, build and configuration. You will be part of the core team responsible for establishing and maturing the Enterprise Integration practice for Mondelēz from the ground up. You will continue to grow and share your expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, reusable, enterprise-grade integrations. You will contribute to the technical implementation of the Integration Platforms, introducing automations & tooling where possible to improve & streamline the developer experience. You will also provide input to and be a part of implementing newly defined standards, processes, controls, and best practices for running and operating these platforms in a large-scale environment.
Responsibilities:
• Be a key technical player on the team establishing and strengthening engineering processes across multiple integration platforms
• Lead by example, providing technical leadership as we design, develop, and launch new technical deliveries for the organization using a mix of internal and external partner resources
• Represent Integration Platforms team throughout various major upgrade, re-platforming, acquisition, and divestiture projects
• Own/manage all aspects of implementing integration platforms, including platform best practices, platform build and configuration activities, capacity & performance planning, upgrades, etc.
• Define, maintain, and enforce governance processes for integration platforms, including design reviews, code reviews, development standards, source code management, and release management practices
• Promote and enable developer efficiency by creating/managing a library of reusable assets & code and providing consultancy as needed
• Define and implement engineering best practices for the organization, including metrics, dashboards & operational reporting, error handling, and critical incident management
• Proactively monitor technical resource allocation, ensuring that we are making best use of available capacity and controlling costs
• Serve as an escalation point for junior engineers (internal) and operational support organizations
• Partner with Enterprise Architects to define and own integration platforms roadmap
Skills / Competencies you need or will develop in this role:
• Experience implementing integration solutions. Experience with one or multiple of following platforms is strongly preferred: Salesforce MuleSoft, IBM Sterling B2B, Broadcom Automic, Qlik Talend
• Knowledge of API/integration principles, patterns, and best practices
• Desire to grow your career, learn continuously, and mentor junior engineers
• Ability to work collaboratively in a highly skilled engineering team environment
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to a wide variety of technical and non-technical team members
• Experience delivering solutions in an agile way
• Experience developing integrations with enterprise applications such as SAP, Lightwell Framework, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SailPoint, Axway Interchange etc.
• Understanding of cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and iPaaS
• Understanding of EDI concepts such as Envelopes, BPML , Mailboxes
• Understanding of infrastructure concepts such as networking, VPC, VPN, load balancers
• Working knowledge of modern authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenIDConnect, as well as other security concepts such as TLS, PKI, etc.
• Understanding of DevOps/CI/CD and how to leverage those concepts in integration platform lifecycle
• Hands-on software development in programming/scripting languages, including Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, Java, Python, SQL, API clients and endpoints
• Progress towards obtaining industry relevant certifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related degree
• Passion for technical, hands-on work
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing, developing, implementing, and operating on one or multiple of following platforms: Salesforce MuleSoft, IBM Sterling B2B, Broadcom Automic, Qlik Talend
• Proven ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary and diverse teams
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) is a plus
