Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes or concerns, communicating effectively with healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Current RN licensure in the state of Louisiana.
1+ year of experience in ICU or Critical Care settings.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
