• Responsible for building out the mobility platform (Android) for eSthenos' suite of Saas products.
• Our applications are used by thousands of credit officers across the country - touching millions of lives.
• You will get to experience the challenge of building robust, light weight applications that need to be offline first and designed for ease of use by rural India.
• Candidates must have proven track record of building scalable mobile applications.
Must Haves
• Good understanding of the overall architecture of an application(not just the mobile client but also impact of network, latency, API design etc.).
• Excellent Java/Kotlin programming skills.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
• Build and maintain excellent Android Native applications with clean code/MVVM architecture.
• Understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
• Create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of Android Native applications.
• Participate in requirements definition and design creation, detailing, and documentation.
• Design and develop new flows and features for our Android Native app.
• Integrate third-party API's enabling features and functionalities.
• Work with native modules when needed to accomplish the project needs.
The Ideal Candidate Would Be One Who
• 0-2 years of professional experience working with Android native using Kotlin/Java development.
• Knowledge of architectural components of Android like live data, View models, Dagger/hilt, jetpack components etc.
• Knowledge of SQLite, Shared Preferences, Content providers in Android native development
• Proficient in Android native mobile application, SDK.
• Knowledge of permission model in Android Native development
• Experience with consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Github, SVN.
• Ability to learn and adapt new tools and technology quickly.
• Ability to foresee technical challenges upfront at the time of design.
• Ability to choose between different design patterns based on situation.
