Responsibilities
• Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Should have worked on high availability and DR strategies.
• Administer all database objects including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures
Essential Skills
• Experience as Production SQL DBA for 24x7 Support.
• This is a hand on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with clients Database, Analyst, and Operations teams
Desirable Skills
• The successful candidate must be highly motivated, fast learner, flexible, willing to assume responsibility, and deliver quality work on time
