Responsibilities • Design and build advanced applications for the aOS platform, consistent with DIVEROID's mission to enhance the diving experience. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features tailored to our diverse user base. • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, adhering to the highest quality standards. • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs, contributing to the smooth operation of our apps. • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. • Participate in agile software development, prototyping, and code reviews within a collaborative team of developers. • Continually discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Requirements • Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject. • Proven experience in software development. • Minimum of 5 + years of experience in aOS development. • Deep familiarity with Kotlin and Android SDK. • Experience with aOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Text. • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. • Proficiency in Figma for the development of UI/UX designs. • Broad understanding of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies. • Solid experience with Bluetooth technologies, including connecting, pairing, and managing connections with external devices. • Comprehensive understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. • Demonstrated knowledge of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines. • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. • Familiarity with continuous integration and Agile/Scrum practices. • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Nice To Have • We admire those who live one year as if it's a decade of hard work. • Experience with performance and memory tuning tools. • Knowledge of or experience in SCUBA or free diving. • Familiarity with camera APIs • Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications. • Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and test automation. • DIVEROID is an inclusive employer.
