Job Title : Graphic Artist
Work Location : Goregaon East, Mumbai
Shift Timing : 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Working Days : Mon-Friday
Reports To : Team Leader, Graphics
Job Overview
The Graphic Artist role interfaces with internal and external customers and supports teams in our international offices.
• Responsible for creating and designing print and digital ads, and pages using InDesign, Photoshop and illustrator for Gannet Sites and commercial clients while meeting department standards and consumer goals
• Hands on experience working with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Responsible for images that are used for publication across Gannett Newspapers and commercial locations, including speciality work such as high quality slick and glossy publications
• Responsible for image manipulation including line art, photos as well as COBs, PDFs and special requests within quality and productivity standards
• Follow the defined workflow procedures and protocol to ensure ads are accurate and meet deadlines
• Participate and contribute in calls with International teams, operational team meets and training sessions
• Work overtime when needed to meet critical deadlines
• Complete adhoc tasks and projects as needed
Qualification And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Graphics, Graphic Design, Photography, Art, Computers, Marketing, Business
• Certificate in Photography / Graphics / Digital Design / Multimedia
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Exposure to Print or Digital Production, Colour separations would be an added advantage.

• Good communication skills - written and spoken
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to quickly learn and adjust to integrate new process and products as needed
• Focused and detail oriented
• Good MS Office skills
• Open to feedback and suggestions
