Roles & Responsibilities
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing software applications
• Minimum 2+ of proven experience with Android GUI development
• At least 3-4 Experience with the latest Android and Google Play Services APIs Proficient with Java, the Android SDK & Android Studio
• At least 4-5 years of Solid Object Oriented Design and Programming Experience interfacing with server APIs via JSON and XML
• Excellent understanding of usability aspects of mobile applications
• Maintain high standards of quality through technical design analysis, code reviews and test automation
Desired Candidate Profile
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (UX, Design, Etc.) and consuming UX and Design artifacts (journeys, wires, visual concepts, image assets, etc.)
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform meeting both technical and business requirements
• Contributing domain specific expertise by reviewing code, reviewing design docs & giving technical talks
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and ship new features
• Innovative thinking to solve challenging problems.
• Strong organization skills with good interpersonal skills and a customer service oriented attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
