Key Responsibilities
Stock Management:
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet demand.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
Team Leadership
• Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their roles efficiently.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety among warehouse personnel.
Customer Care
• Guide and support the team in providing excellent customer service throughout the order fulfillment process.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Order Fulfillment
• Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and within specified timeframes.
• Implement efficient order tracking and status reporting systems.
Billing And Documentation
• Supervise the accurate and timely creation of invoices and related documentation for all shipped orders.
• Collaborate with the finance department to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
Warehouse Safety
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety training and drills to ensure a safe working atmosphere.
Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• o Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance warehouse operations.
Inventory Analysis
• Regularly analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Make recommendations for product assortment adjustments and stock replenishment.
