INDUSTRY: FMCG TENURE: INTERIM

LOCATION: Tier 2 City - Tamil Nadu ROLE: Leadership

Our client, an established 250cr FMCG (Food) business that focuses on Production and Sales is looking for a plant level INTERIM Accounting professional to lead the Accounting & Finance activities of the business at their plant in Tamilnadu. It is a full-time engagement for a limited period of 2 /3 months. There is no bar on age as long as the applicant is agile and competent. The ideal candidate is someone with CA / ICWA / MBA with more than 20 years of experience in managing Accounting & Finance portfolio at leadership level for a manufacturing business, preferably from Food processing industry in a technology (ERP) enabled environment.

The compensation could be around 2 LPM and the accommodation would be provided by the employer. As it is an INTERIM role the selected candidate would be expected to move-in immediately.

Roles & Responsibilities

Budgeting
• Review of capital budgets and monitoring the same for the cost benefit analysis.
• Preparation of Annual Budgets (AOP) and Review of Budget Variance analysis periodically.

Accounts – Receivables & Payables
• Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable management

Financial Accounting
• Independent and complete control of accounting process.

Inventory & Cost Management
• Ensuring that the ordering, carrying and holding costs are managed efficiently
• Efficiently work on zero wastage in storage

Payroll Management
• Establishing & managing a robust systems to capture work and productivity related data
• Ensure on-time & error free Payroll administration

Statutory
• Ensure filling of periodic Returns of GST & TDS
• Responsible for handling Statutory Audit

Treasury
• Ensure Sales Credit Control and related follow up with pertaining to AR.
• Ensure cash management and monthly requirements
• Manage and efficiently arrange both long and short term financial arrangements including meeting the Capital budget

Systems & Processes
• Understanding business process and leading ERP Planning and execution of ERP implementation.
• Responsible for handling internal audit & statutory audits and implement SOPs, RCM at business division level.
• Implementation of efficient internal control systems & procedures.
• Developing and supporting a cross functional culture of continues improvement.

Managerial Accounting
• Part of Management team to improve Gross Margin.
• Validation of Pricing, Costing & MIS efficiently present to Management.
• Responsible for Management accounting and be an advisory of cost optimization/rationalization.
