Job Description
StevenDouglas is partnering with a manufacturing client in Houston, TX in search of an Interim Controller. This position will be 100% onsite and is expected to be at least 2-3 months in duration.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Performing and oversee the job costing
• Partner with operations to understand job level profitability (labor, parts, services)
• Prepare management reporting and financial analysis
• Support month-end close and general ledger activities
• Review payroll
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior experience at an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller/Controller level
• Hands-on Accounting/Finance experience working within manufacturing/project/service based environments
• Experienced with job costing
• Sage 100 experience (required)
• JobOps experience preferred
• Ability to start in a new position immediately
