Job Title: Interim Finance Manager / Financial Controller
Contract: 3-Month Assignment
Location: Remote
Start Date: Immediate
Rate: £250 - £400 depending upon experience via Umbrella
Overview
Concept -IT are seeking a hands-on, highly experienced Interim Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join our client for a 3-month assignment. This is a critical role for the business, requiring a dynamic individual who is ready to start immediately. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day financial operations while providing strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Consolidation of the group reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital requirements
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making
• Support the business with financial planning, analysis, and control
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Review and improve existing financial processes and systems
Qualifications & Skills
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in finance management or financial controller roles
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Happy to roll sleeves up and be involved
• Ability to start immediately
