We are looking for a creative and skilled Designer with experience in 2D and 3D design to join our team at TooTwo - Play Equipment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and safe children's play areas, both indoor and outdoor, and will possess the technical expertise to bring these ideas to life using industry-standard design software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Visualization: Create innovative and functional designs for children's play areas, both indoor and outdoor, using 2D and 3D modeling software.
• Concept Development: Collaborate with clients and the sales team to understand project requirements, and develop design concepts that meet their vision and needs.
• Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for the installation of play equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Presentation: Develop visual presentations and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Material Selection: Assist in the selection of appropriate materials, colors, and finishes for play equipment, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure the successful execution of designs from concept to completion.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar to create and modify designs.
• Quality Assurance: Review and revise designs as needed, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications:
• Education: A degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in 2D and 3D design, preferably in the context of play areas, playgrounds, or related environments.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Creativity: Strong creative and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of child-friendly design principles.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams, including sales, project management, and installation.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
