Job description
Our client is seeking an Interior Architect who not only has a strong design drive but also the will to see projects through to completion. This role encompasses the design and the responsibility of contract administration and site delivery; this role is for someone who thrives on both.
You’ll be stepping into a dual capacity environment, often leading as the architect while being supported by an interior designer, or vice versa, depending on the brand and scale of rollout. The balance shifts, but the opportunity is clear: you’ll be the one who ensures creativity doesn’t stop at concept but carries through every stage of delivery.
The immediate focus is on a major hospitality brand programme, with 10 to 14 projects running annually. You’ll work directly with clients, guide a small project team, and keep programmes on track while safeguarding the brand identity. As project volumes increase, additional resources will be added, creating space for you to grow further into leadership.
What you’ll be doing:
• Taking ownership of client briefs and shaping them into innovative, buildable solutions.
• Leading project delivery while collaborating with senior interior designers.
• Balancing creative vision with contract administration, programming, and procurement.
• Presenting confidently to clients and stakeholders.
• Selecting and specifying materials, finishes, and FF&E with precision.
• Travelling nationwide to oversee on site progress and problem solve in real time.
What you’ll bring:
• Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• Demonstrable experience leading commercial or hospitality projects end-to-end.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Knowledge of contract administration and FF&E procurement.
• A UK driving licence, CSCS card desirable.
Why join?
• 25 days annual leave
• Performance linked bonuses twice yearly.
• Tailored development plans and mentoring to support your progression.
• CPDs and training aligned to your growth path.
• High profile hospitality projects with national and European reach.
This is a role for the architect who wants to do more than design, it’s for someone who relishes the responsibility of making sure great ideas get delivered, on time, on site, and at scale.
