The candidate will work closely with the Principal on all aspects of the projects including decorating and installations, consultation on architecture and construction
The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, have excellent attention to detail and follow-up, time management and organizational skills are key attributes for the Interior Design position
Collaborate on furniture plans for projects, manage and maintain schedules as project progresses (i.e. lighting, painting, window treatment)- As point person for clients, maintaining personable and professional working relationships with assigned clients and architects, through regular correspondence re: scheduling, design and architecture details/questions, and any other project related updates or inquiries, relaying to Principal as needed-Assist Principal during all client meetings, preparing meeting agendas and materials, note-taking and follow through on all meeting points, assisting with client shopping/resourcing-Ability to collaborate with principal and communicate her design concepts and specifications to architects, contractors, workrooms, and clients
Communicate with vendors and workrooms to order or create custom furnishings, lighting, window treatments, and other decorative objects and oversee orders through completion
Request quotes and invoices, work with bookkeeping to create client invoices, write purchase orders, maintain and oversee orders of all decorating items
Coordinate trucking of furnishings, lighting, and decorative items in addition to coordinating pickups and deliveries of all project related items
Lead project installations by managing project timeline, coordinating all hard and soft goods to meet installation deadline

Interior Design Associate Category: Interior Design Location: Nashville Job Description Julie Couch Interiors is seeking an experienced Interior Design Associate to manage high-end residential interior design projects. The candidate will work closely with the Principal on all aspects of the projects including decorating and installations, consultation on architecture and construction. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, have excellent attention to detail and follow-up, time management and organizational skills are key attributes for the Interior Design position. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
