Job Summary:
Elemantra Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with up to 2 years of experience who is passionate about interior design, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to exciting projects. The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with senior designers and project managers, assisting in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Assist in developing design concepts, presentations, and mood boards.
2.Prepare detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and V-Ray.
3.Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), materials, and finishes.
4.Research and source new materials, products, and suppliers.
5.Assist in creating project schedules and budgets.
6.Support senior designers in client meetings, site visits, and vendor coordination.
7.Prepare documentation for tenders, procurement, and execution.
8.Maintain organized project files and libraries of samples.
+.Collaborate effectively with the internal team, contractors, and external vendors.
10.Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and design innovations.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2. 0-2 years of professional experience in interior design.
3.Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and V-Ray.
4.Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
5.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
6.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8.A portfolio showcasing relevant academic or professional projects is highly desirable.
