The Role
We’re looking for a Design & Client Experience Associate with a strong design sensibility and attention to detail, preferably from an Interior Design or Architecture background.
You’ll work closely with architects and designers to curate the right tiles and materials, assist with catalog and listing enablement, and support MaterialKart’s publicity and design outreach.
This is a hybrid design + operations + marketing role — perfect for someone who enjoys working across creative, operational, and client-facing tasks.
Responsibilities
• Design Support: Understand design briefs and recommend suitable tiles, finishes, and materials.
• Client Coordination: Work with architects and interior designers to curate and send the right samples and design selections.
• Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate with partners like Nano Banana for packaging, sourcing, and sample management.
• Catalog & Listing Enablement: Support the operations team in expanding listings from 500 to 5,000 SKUs, ensuring visual and data accuracy.
• Marketing & Publicity: Help create social media content and manage profiles (LinkedIn, website) to build MaterialKart’s online presence.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the warehouse manager for occasional physical enablement and Unicommerce updates.
Candidate Requirements
• Degree in Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience (internships/projects count).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel.
• Strong design eye and interest in materials, textures, and finishes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English (Kannada/Hindi a plus).
• Based in Bangalore, open to working between HSR and BTM locations.
