About the opportunity:

The Interior Design Consultant reports to the Design Studio Manager and is part of the MyChoice Design team servicing Arden Homes. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to provide our clients with a comprehensive understanding of the interior and external products available within our product range. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with clients from initial walk through, selection and electrical appointment
Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing product support and guidance to suit their style
Providing a customised approach for selecting interior and external details, materials, colour selections, flooring selections, lighting/electrical, space planning, and detailing
Interpreting client needs and completing detailed design concepts and contract documents
Writing specifications covering interior design matters
Provide on the spot pricing and estimating for selected product
Working collaboratively and coordinating work with other disciplines
Effectively utilising available technology to accurately record all revisions and reselections

About you:

You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
Certificate in Interior Design and Decoration or other relevant tertiary qualification
Commitment to providing excellence in customer service
Demonstrated attention to detail and strong record keeping, planning and organising
Ability to work 38 hours per week between Monday – Sunday
Willingness to work Saturday’s when required
