Role Overview
As an Interior Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating interior design activities across multiple high-rise development projects, ensuring that design intent is preserved from concept to execution. You will work closely with internal project teams, consultants, and vendors to manage timelines, design approvals, and execution on site.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage interior design deliverables for residential and commercial high-rise projects from design development to project handover.
• Collaborate with internal architectural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure seamless design integration.
• Liaise with external design consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Assist in reviewing and validating design drawings, material boards, mock-ups, and BOQs for approval.
• Monitor design implementation on site, ensuring design compliance and quality standards.
• Support procurement by evaluating materials and finishes for quality and design consistency.
• Track project progress and maintain documentation for design changes, approvals, and milestones.
• Assist in resolving design-related issues during construction in coordination with the site and project management teams.
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and company guidelines.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture or related field.
• 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in interior design coordination within the real estate or construction industry (High-rise residential/commercial projects).
• Strong knowledge of design detailing, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in design and coordination tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office; knowledge of Revit and Photoshop is a plus.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong aesthetic sense with practical execution experience.
