Role Description
As an Interior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and planning GC projects across diverse sectors, including Data Centers, Banking, IT, Hotels, Hospitals, and Commercial Complexes. You will be responsible for creating innovative and functional design solutions while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Design Development: Create creative and functional design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their requirements, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback.
• Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Material Sourcing: Select and source materials, furnishings, and accessories that align with project budgets and timelines.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the company’s quality standards and client expectations.
• Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed technical drawings, mood boards, and layout plans using tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Presentation: Attend meetings and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in turnkey and corporate interior design projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
