Job Summary :
Sahi Designs looking Professional Interior Design Manager, you will lead and manage the interior design team to create innovative and functional design solutions that align with the company's brand and client needs.
You will oversee the design process from concept through execution, ensuring high standards of quality, creativity, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
• Team Leadership : Manage, mentor, and guide a team of interior designers, providing direction and support to ensure design excellence and adherence to project deadlines.
• Project Management : Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, from initial client brief through to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Client Interaction : Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals, and provide expert advice and recommendations throughout the design process.
• Design Development : Lead the design process, including conceptualization, space planning, material selection, color schemes, and furnishing arrangements.
Ensure designs meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaboration : Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of design elements and address any issues that arise during the construction or installation phases.
• Budget Management : Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement of materials, and vendor management, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
• Quality Control : Conduct regular reviews and inspections of design projects to ensure quality standards are met and make necessary adjustments to address any deficiencies.
• Market Trends : Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and materials to incorporate innovative and contemporary design solutions.
• Reporting : Prepare and present project updates, design concepts, and progress reports to clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
Qualifications :
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Advanced degree or certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is a plus.
• Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
• Skills :
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Portfolio : A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of commercial design projects and styles.
Work Environment :
• Office Setting : Primarily office-based with occasional site visits and client meetings.
• Travel : Some travel may be required for client meetings, site inspections, and design presentations.
Additional Requirements :
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
• Ability to adapt to changing client needs and industry trends.
