This role sits at the intersection of design sensitivity and technical clarity.
What You’ll Do
Develop interior concepts aligned with Karu’s design philosophy
Create detailed technical drawings (plans, elevations, sections, joinery details)
Translate design ideas into execution-ready documentation
Work closely with artisans, vendors, and production teams
Supervise site execution and ensure design intent is maintained
Source materials, finishes, and elements that align with the narrative of the space
What You Must Bring
1–2 years of experience in interior design
Strong understanding of technical drafting and detailing
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software
Ability to resolve on-site challenges with practical solutions
Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction processes
A sharp eye for proportion, composition, and spatial storytelling
