Tasks / Responsibilities:
Lead the design process for corporate interior projects, including conceptual design, space planning, material selection and furniture specifications.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, brand and functional requirements.
Develop detailed design presentations, including renderings, mood boards and material samples.
Prepare and oversee project budgets, schedules and timelines.
Coordinate with architects, contractors and other consultants.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress.
Stay current with industry trends, materials and technologies.
Mentor and guide junior designers.
Skills:
Mandatory Skills:
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.
Excellent project management skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
Knowledge of 3D rendering software and visualization tools.
Experience working in a design consultancy or architecture firm.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
Professional certification or licensure in interior design (e.g., NCIDQ) - Preferred.
LEED certification - Preferred
