We are Looking for:
An Interior Designer with artistic flair and an eye for details with excellent interpersonal skills. An individual who has experience of material handling and can liaise with leading Interior Designers and Architects across India and internationally and is capable of understanding their bespoke project requirements, resulting in high quality designs to suit clients expectation. Primary Role & Responsibilities:
To undertake design projects from concept to completion. Interpret the architects and designers needs and translate them into plan.
To create moodboards with surface options, material options and design concepts for residential, commercial and hospitality projects from Architects & Interior Designers.
Innovate using multi-material to create concepts and unique products that break the boundaries of architectural design.
Collaborate with craftspeople & artisans to understand their strengths and innovate with products using the capabilities of Orvis Craftspeople
Research on new craft techniques, materials, and dcor concepts (global & national trends), that would help in positioning Brand Orvi as a bespoke- design lead brand within the Design Fraternity globally
Research on dcor brands globally to identify the industry gap, allowing brand Orvi to identify areas for growth & development
Work to a timeline for completion of all interior design projects and adhere to the deadlines.
Meeting with clients and site-visits to understand space better (with proper measurements) and take detailed notes to put that knowledge in use while drawing a sketch.
Create design concepts and digital presentations with finish selection, furnishings and fixtures for clients.
Provide follow-up support to customers while developing productive and effective business relationships with them.
To help in creating project budgets and maintain time bound documentation of all activities.
Cross-collaborate with other departments including sales, marketing & graphic design to help serve the customers with greater ease
Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Interior Designing.
Minimum 3 years experience of Interior Designing and Material Handling.
Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketch Up, CorelDraw
Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, installations etc.
Experience in new product development & furniture (preferable)
Impressive portfolio of previous work experiences and skills.
Attributes:
Confident, Positive, enthusiastic, creative, artistic and imaginative.
Flexible to travel on-site to meet customers and to see space(s).
Excellent professional written & verbal communication, strong intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in tight timeframes managing several projects at once. Self-motivated and ability to participate and facilitates,
