Position - ASSISTANT DESIGN MANAGER (INTERIOR)Looking for someone to creatively manage, lead, develop and grow the team. Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and creative Interior Designer with strong 2D drawing skills to join our team at Mauve Interio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 2D drawings and plans for interior design projects.
Develop and present design concepts that meet. client requirements and align with company standards.
Collaborate with the design team to refine and finalize design plans.
Client Interaction:
Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
Present design proposals and make revisions based on client feedback.
Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the design process.
Material and Resource Selection:
Select appropriate materials, furnishings, and color palettes for projects.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and furnishings.
Ensure that all selections meet project specifications and budget requirements.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of design plans.
Conduct site visits to ensure design integrity and project progress.
Address any design-related issues or challenges that arise during the project.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all design work meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into designs.
Maintain a portfolio of completed projects and design concepts.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design with a strong emphasis on 2D drawing.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills.
Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
