Job Title: Project Manager-Interior Design
Job Summary: The Project Manager will oversee interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the interior design process.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and the design team.
· Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Client Management:
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
· Conduct regular meetings with clients to update them on project progress and address any concerns or changes.
· Ensure client needs and expectations are met and managed effectively.
Team Coordination:
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of the design team, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
• Facilitate collaboration and problem-solving among team members.
Project Execution:
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of interior design projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards.
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
Budget Management:
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Track project expenses and handle billing and invoicing in coordination with the finance team.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Quality Control:
• Ensure all design and construction work meets the company’s quality standards and client specifications.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work progress and quality.
• Address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, plans, progress reports, and change orders.
• Prepare regular status reports for clients and management.
• Ensure all project records are organized and accessible.
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Project Manager in the interior design or construction industry.
· Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and project management methodologies.
· Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and time management abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Language: Hindi, Kannada, English or any other.
