About the job
Studio Savoir is on the lookout for a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team in Alexandria, Sydney. If you have 2–3 years’ experience, a strong design eye, and thrive in a collaborative studio environment, this could be the role for you.
As part of our tight-knit and hands-on team, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the design process, from concept through to completion. You’ll need to be confident juggling creative and technical work while staying cool under pressure – especially when dealing with contractors and builders.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the full lifespan of interior projects: concept development, space planning, material and finishes selection, documentation and project admin
Producing and presenting design concepts and mood boards
Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers
Attending site visits, assisting with approvals, and problem-solving on the ground
Using your ArchiCAD, Sketch Up, InDesign, and Photoshop skills to bring ideas to life
Creating beautiful and practical spaces
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years’ experience in interior design (residential and/or hospitality experience a plus)
Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
Confidence when dealing with site teams and trades
Proficiency in ArchiCAD, InDesign, and Photoshop essential
Knowledge of Enscape a plus
A current driver’s license (essential for site and supplier visits)
A passion for thoughtful, refined design with attention to detail
