Role Description
Job Purpose
The position is that of a Category Executive for Barware Category in a Luxury Retail Showroom. This is an in-store retail role and will require expertise to deliver seamless operation of sales activities. This multifaceted position involves a strong understanding of barware category, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The job profile will include coordination with AIDs and clients & to provide administrative support for presentations and proposals to convert the sales.
Primary Responsibilities
Business Responsibility Areas Key Performance Indicators
Operational excellence ~ Connect with customers in- store, provide personalized assistance and guidance throughout the shopping experience.
~ Conduct product presentations to showcase collection and provide solutions to drive sales. Prepare professional PPTs to highlight the unique feature that add value to drive sales.
~ Understand customers’ needs and preferences to recommend suitable options within multiple categories.
~ Follow up with customers to answer questions, address concerns and finalize the sales transactions.
~ Maintain thorough knowledge of our product offerings, including materials, finishes, customization possibilities, etc.
~ Convert online leads into sales through follow-up, product presentations, etc.
Responsibilities within store ~ Prepare accurate presentations for clients, vendors, etc. always ensuring clarity to drive sales.
~ Maintain a well-organized data base of quotations for reference and follow ups.
~ Service the requirements of customers and/or AIDs pitching new products to them.
~ Maintain accurate records of enquiries from client and/or AIDs and conduct follow ups.
~ Keep the showroom organized and visually appealing ensuring that the displays are well maintained and up to date.
Administrative Support ~ Understand and learn internal company processes along with product knowledge.
~ Assist in preparations of presentation, proposals, and cost estimates for clients/ vendor
~ Organize and maintain documentation related to sales activities.
~ Collaborate with designers and architects to ensure accurate implementation.
~ Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, achievements, and challenges.
Team Collaboration ~ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
~ A proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
Material Selection ~ Collaborate with AIDs and/or potential clients to select appropriate products for interior design projects.
~ Stay updated on industry trends and material options to provide informed recommendations.
Client and AID Engagement ~ Build and maintain strong relationships within the organization and with AID’s and/or potential clients.
~ Act as a knowledgeable point of contact addressing inquiries and facilitating design discussions.

Qualifications Essential
• Graduation with minimum 50%
• Understanding of a 2D layout
• Strong organisational and administrative skill
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adept at using software tools for presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with interior design materials and home décor categories
Previous Experience
Essential
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Barware Category within luxury/high end décor industry
• Experience in Mumbai market is preferred (not mandatory
