Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and a desire to learn and grow within the field of interior design. This role involves assisting senior designers in the development of design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and ensuring the successful execution of design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design Development: Assist in developing design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
• Space Planning: Create floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings using CAD software.
• Material Selection: Source and select materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with the design concept and client preferences.
• Client Interaction: Assist in client meetings, presentations, and communication to ensure their needs and preferences are met.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately.
• Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any on-site issues.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design briefs and schedules
• Research: Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in interior design or a related field.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office.
• Creative Skills: Strong design sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion: Enthusiasm for design and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
