About Nicole Costa Design
Nicole Costa Design is a Toronto-based residential design studio specializing in stylish, functional, and highly personalized spaces. We offer full-service design with a boutique, approachable feel, and we're growing.
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and self-sufficient designer who can confidently manage residential projects from concept to completion. You’ll be involved in all phases from design development and sourcing to installs and construction coordination. This is a full-time, hybrid contract role with consistent hours and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Develop design concepts and presentations
Source finishes, furniture, and fixtures
Draft floorplans, elevations, and detailed drawings in AutoCAD
Create finish schedules and spec packages
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, trades, and clients
Conduct site visits, take measurements, and ensure design implementation
Track budgets, timelines, and procurement
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of interior design experience (residential preferred)
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and Google Workspace
Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (required)
A good eye, a great attitude, and strong attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with styling or staging for photography
Knowledge of Programa software
Familiarity with local vendors and trades
Alignment with the Nicole Costa Design aesthetic
Experience on higher-end or custom residential projects
This is a full-time contract position with the potential for long-term collaboration.
