Key Responsibilities
• Support all phases of the design process across projects of varying size and complexity.
• Generate thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling design solutions.
• Maintain strong communication and collaborative relationships with clients and project teams.
• Create high-quality graphics, drawings, and presentation materials using industry-standard software.
• Assist with integrating design workflows into broader project processes and deliverables.
• Serve as a design advocate throughout each project, supporting the overall concept and vision.
• Coordinate architectural and consultant documentation to ensure alignment and accuracy.
• Apply an understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and timelines.
• Stay current on new methodologies, codes, products, and sustainability practices.
• Contribute to FF&E selections.
• Participate in producing major components of construction document packages.
• Assist with contract administration tasks, including reviewing submittals and RFIs.
• Conduct site visits, field verification, and on-site coordination as needed.
Skills & Experience
• Fully in -office role (5 days / week).
• Degree from a CIDA-accredited interior design program (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of commercial interior design experience; strong preference for workplace projects.
• State registration for interior design (or active progress toward registration).
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual design, space planning, and detailing skills.
• Proficiency in Revit with solid technical understanding of construction documentation.
• Interest in sustainable design and evolving industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work within diverse, collaborative teams.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced studio environment.
