• Position Overview:
• Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Engagement: Greet customers as they enter the showroom, actively engage with them to understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations on interior design products and solutions.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, including furniture, decor items, and accessories. Provide detailed information about product features, materials, pricing, and availability to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
• Sales Generation: Proactively approach customers to showcase featured products, highlight promotions, and upsell complementary items. Utilize effective sales techniques to drive revenue and achieve sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Showroom Presentation: Ensure that the showroom is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Assist with merchandising efforts, including arranging displays, restocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Design Consultation: Offer professional design advice and guidance to customers seeking assistance with space planning, colour coordination, furniture selection, and decor styling. Use your creative flair to inspire customers and help them visualize their design concepts.
• Order Processing: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing adjustments, and order tracking. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate product deliveries and installations as needed.
• Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business. Follow up with customers after their purchases to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and encourage feedback to continually improve our services.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in sales, design, and customer service to share knowledge, support each other, and collectively achieve business objectives. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and promotional events to contribute to the overall success of the showroom.
• Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the home furnishings, interior design, or luxury retail industry.
Passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service.
Knowledge of interior design principles, trends, and product offerings.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training in interior and furniture, sales, or related fields is advantageous.
