RESPONSABILITIES

The Finance Department at ANDRITZ is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to ensure the accurate processing of invoices and payments, in coordination with our suppliers and internal teams.

Verify and enter vendor invoices into SAP system on a daily basis;
Process vendor payments timely and as required (EFT, ACH, checks);
Respond efficiently and professionally to suppliers’ inquiries and requests (telephone, email, etc.);
Follow up with appropriate internal personnel for invoice discrepancies;
Review and reconcile vendors’ statements and handle discrepancies appropriately;
Resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely manner;
Organize and file documents in a paperless environment;

Post-secondary education and/or Accounting DCS
Bilingualism – strong written and verbal communication skills in French & English;
3 years’ experience in high volume accounts payable;
SAP experience an asset;
Understanding of sales taxes in Canada as we operate in most provinces;
Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required;
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
Must be autonomous, flexible and have the ability to work well under deadline pressure;
Must be proactive and able to multi-task;
Must be well organized and able to prioritize;
Excellent keyboarding skills: fast and accurate;
Must exercise discretion and good judgement.
