Job Description
As an Intern, you'll play a vital role in the financial operations of the company, providing support to senior accountants and financial managers. Your responsibilities may include:
Bookkeeping: Recording financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, using accounting software or spreadsheets.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assisting with the processing of invoices, monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date, and resolving any discrepancies.
Bank Reconciliation: Matching bank transactions with internal records, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Supporting the budgeting process by gathering data, performing analysis, and preparing reports to aid in decision-making.
Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required.
General Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative duties related to finance, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining financial records.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, which may involve financial analysis, process improvements, or other tasks.
