Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intern – Investments. As an Intern, you will support the investment team in sourcing and evaluating startups across sectors through founder networks, incubators, accelerators, and industry events. You will assist in the initial screening of business models, market opportunities, traction, and founding teams, and help prepare preliminary evaluation materials.
Support the development of financial models, including unit economics and revenue projections, and assist with industry research, competitive analysis, and market sizing exercises. The role will also involve supporting the due diligence process by gathering data, validating assumptions, and summarising key risks and value drivers.
Assist in monitoring the performance of portfolio companies by tracking key operational and financial metrics and helping prepare structured performance dashboards and reports. The internship provides hands-on exposure to the investment process and close interaction with senior team members in a family office environment.
Responsibilities:
● Support the sourcing of startups across sectors through founder networks, incubators, accelerators, conferences, and ecosystem partnerships.
● Assist in initial screening of investment opportunities by analysing business models, market size, growth traction, and founding teams.
● Help prepare investment teasers, opportunity briefs, and preliminary evaluation notes for internal review.
● Assist in building and updating financial models covering unit economics, revenue projections, and basic valuation scenarios.
● Conduct industry research, competitive benchmarking, and market sizing to support investment analysis.
● Support the due diligence process across commercial, financial, and operational aspects by collecting data and validating assumptions.
● Track and analyse portfolio company performance using key financial and operational indicators such as revenue growth, burn rate, and cash runway.
● Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly portfolio performance dashboards and management reports.
● Support senior management in strategic initiatives, special projects, and investment-related analysis as required.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in finance, management, accounting, economics, or business administration from a reputable institution.
● Strong mathematical and numerical skills to conduct financial analysis and investments.
● Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
● Excellent research and writing skills to produce financial reports and presentations.
● Confident presentation abilities to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
● Understanding of financial statements and investment strategies to evaluate investment opportunities.
● Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to achieve investment goals.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
