Summary:
FHN Financial is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an intern in our fixed income broker-dealer division. As an intern, you will actively engage in various aspects of fixed income sales, trading and strategies, working on projects that directly contribute to the success of our business. Collaborating with senior leaders, you'll gain insights into market trends, trading techniques, and risk management strategies. This immersive experience is tailored to enhance your knowledge and skills, preparing you for a successful career in the dynamic field of finance.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing market data
• Assisting with customer presentations and supporting capital markets transactions
• Participating in strategy discussions and supporting general platform initiatives
• Maintaining proprietary databases
Qualifications:
• Progress toward a degree in finance, accounting, data science, or a related field
• Passion for finance and desire to learn from fixed income industry experts
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and presentation within Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail working within fast-paced, trading floor conditions
• Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and driven ownership mentality
