About You
We are looking for enthusiastic and eager students or recent graduates to join our team as an Intern. You are a motivated individual who excels at supporting team members, conducting research, and assisting in various communications and marketing activities.
As an intern, you will be involved in regularly drafting press or public-facing communications and content. If you are passionate about communications and marketing and ready to make a difference, this internship is for you.
What You Do
Archetype’s internship program is designed to give you a genuine taste of agency life. Rather than sitting on the sidelines, you’ll be embedded into the team and treated as a valued contributor from day one.
You’ll work on designated client accounts each week, getting hands-on exposure to media relations and content creation. This includes learning how teams collaborate, how work moves from idea to execution and how campaigns are delivered in a fast-paced agency environment.
As An Intern, You Will Support The Implementation Of Campaigns As Agreed With Team Members. You Will Predominantly Work On Traditional PR Campaigns (with Occasional Broader Marketing Scopes), Learning How To
Conduct media pitching
Build and maintain media lists
Create reports and coverage summaries
Research industries, competitors and journalists
Develop content calendars and draft media releases
You will participate in internal brainstorms for new product launches, campaigns, and business pitches, learning how to respond to briefs and generate creative ideas.
You will assist in planning and executing media events, and be on-site to support team members during select events if needed.
You’ll gain first-hand experience of the day-to-day realities of agency life — managing priorities, working across multiple clients, receiving feedback, and learning how different disciplines come together to deliver integrated campaigns.
