Job Description
The Intern, Technical Data Package will be responsible for assisting the JSS project team in preparing the final data package for delivery to the client. You will work with the Integrated Logistics Support to evaluate the project documents and data and identify and address any errors. This role will provide a full overview of a large-scale engineering project. You will be involved in preparing the “paper ship” for project close-out and delivery to the client.
Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site based at 88+ Harbourside Dr, North Vancouver.
What you’ll do
Assign documents to a hierarchical structure (the Equipment Family Tree).
Verify and validate the completeness of the deliverable
Review Engineering Change Data Packages to ensure completeness.
Verify metadata for documents, fill in missing metadata and identify and correct errors, using a combination of automation and manual effort.
Review document files to ensure they meet quality standards and completeness using a combination of automation and manual effort.
Work with the Intellectual Property team to help identify IP data.
Work with stakeholders to resolve more complex concerns.
Assist with automation projects to streamline various data processing tasks.

What you’ll bring
Enrolled in Engineering, Computer Sciences or a related discipline.
Special consideration will be given to applicants with a demonstrated attention to detail, technical aptitude, and an ability to identify and enact solutions.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong technical skills including knowledge of complex mechanical and/or electrical systems .
Experience with coding and automation
Excellent digital and information literacy and pattern-recognition
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and manage their time effectively.
Ability to recognize when to ask for more guidance
Experience with archives and/or data cleaning is considered an asset
Experience with Systems Engineering, maintenance, and In-Service Support is considered an asset
Experience with creating PowerBI reports is considered an asset
Experience with drafting standards is considered an asset.

We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $26.00/hour.
Start Date of Internship: Monday, September 8 th , 2026.
End Date of Internship: Friday, December 1+ th , 2026 (4-Months)
