Job description: Description & Requirements Job Title: Intern Technical Writer Location(s): Bangalore, India. Role Summary / Purpose: As a member of the Product Operations and Learning Team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation for Epicor products. You will work within R&D project teams to produce various types of documentation such as implementation guides, user guides how-to articles, and process walkthroughs. Your skills and knowledge of technical writing practices will help support the content team and contribute to content development. You will also work with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA Testers to ensure our applications have the required documentation to inform and support our customers. Essential Responsibilities: Develop and maintain documentation of various outputs for Epicor Learning. Be able to explain technical concepts in clear, simple, conversational terms. Support numerous projects simultaneously. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the products are clearly and completely documented. Qualifications / Requirements: Fresher with Degree in Technical Writing, Education or Instructional Design or related program and/or equivalent experience. Fluency in oral and written English. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and\or other desktop publishing software. Excellent communication and interpersonal. Exceptional attention to detail. Solid organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task and work on different projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as on project teams. Experience in Jira, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, WalkMe, Storyline 360 are a plus Additional Desired Characteristics: Knowledge of technical and development terminology. Knowledge of basic HTML. Familiarity with content management systems.
