Overseas Audit Lead | Global Compliance & Risk | Based in Los Angeles
We are seeking an experienced Overseas Audit Lead to build and lead our overseas audit framework, ensuring alignment with international compliance standards and driving global operational excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Establish and Lead Overseas Audit Programs: Design and implement standardized audit processes for overseas subsidiaries and cross-border operations, ensuring compliance, consistency, and alignment with global audit practices.
Drive International Audits: Independently lead financial statement audits, operational audits, and risk assessments for overseas entities. Evaluate internal controls and compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other relevant standards. Deliver actionable remediation plans and ensure execution.
Investigate Global Compliance Issues: Lead investigations into overseas misconduct, cross-border disputes, and compliance violations, delivering audit reports that align with local regulations.
Enhance Global Risk Awareness: Provide audit, internal control, and anti-fraud training for international teams to strengthen risk management capabilities.
Key Global Liaison: Act as the primary audit contact for overseas operations, collaborating with HQ leadership, regional management teams, and external auditors (Big Four) to align audit findings with international regulatory expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields. Global certifications such as CIA, ACCA preferred.
Fluent in Chinese and English for professional reporting and meetings.
5+ years of audit experience, with at least 3 years in overseas audits (US and EU markets preferred); proven team leadership required.
Background in Big Four (international division) or multinational in-house audit roles preferred.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, US Act, FCPA, and ESG compliance frameworks.
