About The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of internal and team member communications for the group. You will utilise various channels to assist in maintaining a strong team culture aligned with our values.
Reporting to the Capability & Change Manager, you will ensure that appropriate internal communications are planned and deployed across our business units. You are focused and passionate about using a range of technologies, and exploring new ones, in internal communications to drive engagement and innovation. You'll utilise and manage existing Briscoe Group internal communications channels, including email, and develop new channels (including video content).
You will collaborate closely with our Change and Capability team to ensure our communications support and enhance our change initiatives. You'll work on exciting initiatives in a collaborative team environment where you'll share your skills and opinions while having opportunities to challenge yourself and develop professionally.
We need your help to help us hear the voices of our team and to enable us to use our voice to share our challenges and wins, along with other key messages. You'll be a key contributor to our overall communications strategy and ensure our internal communications are innovative and engaging.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification (Marketing, Journalism, Media)
Prior experience working in an internal communications environment
Experience within a learning and development space would be an advantage
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Have a solid understanding of technologies and channels used for internal communications and have a willingness to find ways to continually improve
Passionate about new technologies, and using them to advance our communications across the business
Creative skills and will be technically and social media savvy
Proven initiative, drive and resilience, be able to work to tight deadlines, and balance competing priorities.
