The Role
Drive colleague connection and a positive, visible workplace culture across global locations by designing and delivering culture and engagement programs and activating internal channels and campaigns in partnership with the Internal Communications team and regional/local office leads.
This role is a 18 month fixed term position
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Forward plan and execute internal events, culture, wellbeing initiatives, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and other annual campaigns as part of the Annual Communications & Culture Calendar.
Deliver events and communications around wellbeing resources, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and other employee experience programs.
Support Culture & Communications Lead in running global business meetings, including back-up role and technical rehearsals.
Gather and write content related to internal events and cultural initiatives.
Draft clear, audience-appropriate copy for emails, posts, event-related office updates, assets, and leader updates.
Maintain and update SharePoint pages with relevant campaign and culture content.
Gather information and create SharePoint content about office and team happenings to unite and inform globally dispersed team 3.
Act as stakeholder manager for the global Culture Club (local volunteers) to support overseas offices in organizing localized versions of global initiatives.
Consult frequently with Customer Experience and Brand teams to align brand with culture and develop visual assets for internal and external use.
Identify appropriate success metrics for culture initiatives.
Prepare and arrange recognition measures for our internal recognition platform, including messaging and branding, and track annual point allocation.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
5+years in internal communications, (experience in HR or employee experience related initiatives preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
Internal communications strategies and tools experience
Campaign planning, execution and event management
Culture and engagement program design and delivery
SharePoint and digital collaboration platforms experience
Strong writing and editing skills
Strong organizational and planning skills for global initiatives
Additional Information:
Office-based working environment, work from our Christchurch, New Zealand office three or more days per week. This role will work across multiple time zones and cultures
