Business Descriptor:
• Global Internal Audit provides independent objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.
• The Global IT audit team undertakes Information Technology (IT) audits across the Group.
• IT Audit is responsible for providing independent evaluation of internal controls for all IT operations, applications and projects.
• This challenging position offers exposure to a wide spectrum of applications, technologies and business knowledge.
We are currently seeking an individual to join the Global IT Audit team in the role of Internal IT Auditor.
Principal Responsibilities
• Willingness to learn and deliver audits of business applications, software development and technical infrastructure as part of various global, regional and local IT audits
• Be a proactive team player and helps others as needed to achieve common objectives
• Deliver quality work within the given timeframes, standards, methodology, budget and best practices.
• Based on audit work, confirm accuracy of audit results and draft value-adding audit findings articulating key issues, risks, root causes and action plans.
• Effective communication and ability to maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders, team members, and audit Management.
• Support a strong risk and conduct culture across the Group
• Critically analyse and determine key drivers of change for area of coverage and assess how these will impact audits.
• Use insights, industry knowledge and current developments to assess areas of concern. Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
• A University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in IT Auditing, IT security, software development, business analyst, quality assurance, internal control/operational risk or IT operations with 1-2 years' experience, in at least one of these areas.
• Understanding of the application systems architecture and strategic risks.
• A broad understanding of the financial services industry and associated regulatory environment.
• Technical aptitude, fair control concept and ability to assess risks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualifications such as, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, ITIL, ACA or PMP preferred.
