Job Role

As an Internal Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales efforts of a company. Your role will involve actively engaging with both prospective and current customers to effectively promote our products and services. You’ll be responsible for understanding their unique needs and scheduling meetings for our Business Development Managers. This role involves a mix of outbound and inbound sales activities, with a focus on achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
• Utilise lead generation tools and databases to identify potential clients.
• Complete daily tasks in HubSpot, including connecting with prospective clients on LinkedIn and managing contact information.
• Engage with prospective clients through telephone calls to understand their needs and offer solutions.
• Present, promote, and sell products/services using persuasive sales techniques.
• Introduce and promote Unsworth’s Supply Chain Visibility platform, Pathway, to clients
• Qualify prospect and book meetings with prospective clients for Business Development Managers to attend.
• Manage the diaries of BDMs, ensuring their schedules are organised and efficient.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and follow-up.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, and actively follow up to secure bookings.
• Prepare presentations and quotations proposal for client meetings .
• Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information about our offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of calls and sales activities in our CRM system.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for leads generation marketing campaigns.
• Opportunity to join BDMs on client visits, gaining firsthand experience in client interaction.
• Assist with the preparation of new client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for successful onboarding.

Skills And Qualities Required
• Some experience in sales roles, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities
• Self-motivated , eager to learn
• Target-driven with a passion for achieving sales goals
• Ability to handle rejection and remain positive and persistent.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
